Today’s Thought “Friendship of Superficial Proportion” G. Ward

“Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.” Proverbs 13:20

I’ve been perceived as a “social bug” of sorts by many. Although this tag is with merit, I can say that it’s not my natural inclination. My position in Christ enables this gregariousness perceived. HE looked beyond my impropriety and I owe HIM a reciprocal grace unto others (Mt.5:16).

Howbeit that any acquaintance for any proposed believer is familiar with multitudes in personality demonstrated by us? Before knowing of perfect submission unto Christ, they sit with us at lunch hearing how disgruntled we are with the service. Moreover, the illustrious water cooler invites great conversation regarding many inappropriate television shows that we’re totally familiar with, or our partisan political verbosity becomes the momentary argument to acknowledge.

Sacrifice in praise must embrace definitively a trust of the “All Wise Savior” along with an implementation in denying self (Mt.16:24), yielding an opportunity for friends of yours to become a friend to Christ.

Happy Tuesday!
