Today’s Thought “Trouble In My Way” G. Ward

“For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” 1 John 5:4

The object of faith is Christ. While it should be the only consideration to perceive, it competes with a pervasive ideology of man that brings Holy God along as a co-pilot; as if HE needs frailty found in every man. We’ll either become progressive unto the most loving Redeemer who guarantees life, or suffer the flaming embers that never extinguish when pompously addressing, “yes I can!”

Monday’s selective memory disquiets other ideas of sufficiency found anywhere outside of the Savior’s rule.

Today’s Thought “The Fourth Quarter” G. Ward

“For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority.” Colossians 2:9-10

We’re certainly not the first generation to endure denial of Jesus Christ as LORD. The unfathomable riches of His grace (Ro.11:33) is never to be equated with the argumentative behavior of man. Irrefutably and historically accurate is the account given man to save his soul and the inability to perceive such a gift (Eph.2:8-9) happens because we want to make the Savior a man vs. GOD incarnate (*Jn.1:1-3, 14).

Thursday’s Insistence: HE’S More Than Enough!

Today’s Thought “Earnest Expectation” G. Ward

“For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” Philippians 1:21

An acceptable jargon has become the tag of believers that is entirely contradictory of the temporal status of every man. Men positively proclaim to others through basic salutations (e.g. Good Morning, Hello, How Are You? etc.), an opportunity in celebratory praise for having been awakened by the Almighty to highlight that “it’s a day above ground” (cf. 2 Cor.5:1-7), to absolutely DENY the fact that eternal presence with Holy God beats the strife found in this wicked world.

Wednesday questions your struggle between two opinions. Are you to be the first human to live in earth forever, or like all others, is departure soon?

Today’s Thought “The Makings of You” G. Ward

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us.” Romans 8:18

A dreaded call in the twilight of the day. A sudden diagnosis of a debilitating disease. There are sufferings to behold for every life (Jn.15:20). There however are expansive ideologies declaring an avoidance (of sufferings) possible to achieve when any come to faith. I know this as entirely untrue. More faith in Who Love is (1 Jn.4:8), envelopes greater compassion on the whole of mankind, taking on the misery of many (*Matt.9:36, Ro.12:15). Preparation in the Spirit realm can never prepare for misery’s encounter, but rejoices in the potential of eternality.

May Tuesday find you faithful?

Today’s Thought “Without Trouble” G. Ward

“Though He slay me, I will hope in Him. Nevertheless I will argue my ways before Him.” Job 13:15

The notion of being mad with God is diminished as our consultation through His words testifies to the patriarch’s of faith sufferings. For our time there’s more a false idea to perceive that mandates going to Holy God means the removal of your problem(s) – cf. Phil.4:6-7. While earthly parentage seeks to protect their children, we disallow becoming a false shadow therein. In other words, if our children never encounter sufferings, they’re spoiled (i.e. rotten).

Monday was given for a fight in determining that Holy God’s counsel will stand the test of time and the peace it gives insists on my return unto HIM (Eph.3:20-21).

Today’s Thought “Blame Game” G. Ward

“The foolishness of man ruins his way, and his heart rages against the Lord.” Proverbs 19:3

Worship unto Holy God was never optional (including ideas of self-constructive praise). That kind of conditional adoration contemplates only the good things, disallowing gratefulness for His abiding with any who will trust Him at a constant.

Thursday cannot persist with defense mechanisms unto those with chants of hypocrisy concerning deficiency found in proposed people of God and their perspective places of worship. It must more prepare to receive it with greater opportunity, conveying that despite our frailty HE is yet loving us.

Today’s Thought “A Letter from the Almighty” G. Ward

"For I, the LORD, do not change; therefore you, O sons of Jacob, are not consumed. "From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you," says the LORD of hosts. "But you say, 'How shall we return?” Malachi 3:6-7

O how refreshing when something complicated is settled. Our minds are once again perceiving jubilance, to then run back to dependence on a practice in reliance of Holy God’s wisdom mixed with our own (cf. Isa.55:8-9). Moreover, we audaciously await HIS return as if He’s left the room (cf. 1 Pe.1:16). The beauty of the day given solicits our return.

Wednesday must color within the lines for the portrait to be understood…

Today’s Thought “Perpetuating Unemployment” G. Ward

“But from the fruit of the tree which is in the middle of the garden, God has said, “You shall not eat from it or touch it, or you will die.” The serpent said to the woman, “You surely will not die!” Genesis 3:3-4

Distorting truth is thought to be mostly intentional. There is however the component of submission (unknowingly) to a standard common to man and the visuals to perceive echoes sentiment of “yes we can” (cf. Jn 15:5)! Whereas umbilical cords are cut from mother to child, our detachment (spiritually) from Holy God causes malnourishment.

Tuesday’s determination must not take up employment for evil’s antics…

Today’s Thought “Un-equaled Wisdom” G. Ward

“When the people came into the camp, the elders of Israel said, “Why has the Lord defeated us today before the Philistines? Let us take to ourselves from Shiloh the ark of the covenant of the Lord, that it may come among us and deliver us from the power of our enemies.” 1 Samuel 4:3

The ark of the covenant for Israel was a container carried around in the wilderness experience, that would ultimately find a home in the Temple, embracing the only sacrificial system regarded by Holy God to indicate (by a high priest’s offering) the Israelites’ sins as forgiven. How in the world could they estimate this sacred box as a tool of protection at war time (cf. Ps.127:1)?

Monday has become opportunity for less perception and more obeisance unto HIS mandates, subtracting from religious jargon that excludes…
