Ward Matthew 5 43 “You have heard that it was said, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR and hate your enemy.’ 44 But I say to you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45 so that you may prove yourselves to be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for He causes His sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” The objective for a great preponderance of man concerning the vilest of sinners is to lock them up and lose the key and whereas that tag should apply to each of us, not as we compare ourselves to those seemingly more reckless, but unto the One Savior who has mercy on those He chooses, along with blessings onto the many He created (cf. John 1:2-3) and while many seek to change their attitude to reflect His, they’ll fail every time; because HE alone imparts the good, allowing the change (Phil.1:6).
