We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. As believers, we’re rich in Heaven’s mercy in two ways: In earth we have Perfect Guidance through the Spirit of Christ and secondly, while our heavenly dwelling place awaits our arrival, believer’s eternal nature will be as Jesus’ perfection existed in earth and whereas like some of you having parents, along with loved ones already there, being like HIM will soon declare that everyone in God’s abode is family without biological constraint. Our earthly status is given so as to establish a practice in the same (cf. Eph.5:1-2) and persistence to regard the philosophical, regressive notion of “blood is thicker than water,” rejects spiritual conformity.
