Today’s Thought “Pounds Unwanted” by G. Ward

Isaiah 59:2 “But your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear.”

Moving on (i.e. without confession, through repentance of sin’s journey) in the newness of the day while rejoicing in Holy God coverage is abhorrent unto Heaven. The days are closing in on man and a practice of intimacy can often be marred because of a frivolous approach to Holy God’s throne including too many words (cf. Eccl.5:1-2) vs. worshipful contemplations of HIS mercy with guidance. I must not go on without unraveling the superficial layer in how frail I really am via child like faith in HIS deliverance.

Normalcy and mediocrity should never be numbered in the great equation of salvation; but must more embody a strenuous climb to a peak where consistent holiness is found…
