Today's Thought "Patiently Waiting" G.Ward
"And there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon; and this man was righteous and devout, looking for the consolation of Israel; and the Holy Spirit was upon him." Luke 2:25
Storms have been somewhat intense throughout America and the visual in residual affects therein have been astounding. Our views have pitied those impacted by these disasters, but only until the next news story is presented; we're then sent on a roller coaster ride of emotion undesired ( I.e. from pity to criticisms).
True devotion unto Hope (Jn.3:17-18) sympathizes more than temporary when disaster strikes another, while mourning for those detached from righteousness by pervading on every man the Blessed Hope that offers refuge for the storm soon to visit (cf. Eph.6:12). Furthermore it refuses to cheapen the grace afforded, via a blatant refusal in personal discipleship (i.e. Worship Services).
Happy Friday!
