And if we are in our right minds, it is for your benefit. 14 Either way, Christ’s love controls us. Since we believe that Christ died for all, we also believe that we have all died to our old life. 15 He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. A most prolific author (Charles Dickens, 1812-1870) wrote a novel A Tale of Two Cities, that ultimately surmises that things are not what they seem. I believe it’s primarily due to perspectives that are ever evolving (i.e., out with the old and in with the new mentality). Sufferings of sorts, life’s truest accompaniment remains plenteous enough without efforts in re-inventing more mantras entirely argumentative; but as for believers, the struggle within is lessened and frequently extinguished when we insist on Perfect to lead and guide (*John 15:5).
