Today’s Thought “Entangled” G. Ward

 

“Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations.” Psalm 90:1

 

Frustration, most certainly can/will block resolve. This prayer of Moses understood that. His leadership experienced tumultuous obstacles seemingly impossible to conquer. I wasn’t there, but I can only imagine that the stress of such a calling to fulfill became debilitating.

Holy God’s assignments were never introduced as easy. HE merely promised that His presence would never depart from ours (Mt.28:20, Heb.13:5b). When we seek demonstrating how strong we are concerning life’s difficulties, we say (in the face of God) that HE is not All Sufficiency. Without duress, our better contemplations will lead us to know that He too has been our dwelling place because of Christ’s sufficiency, and not our own. Take time throughout the day to thank Him for such a tremendous rescue.
