Today’s Thought “Co-Piloting” G. Ward

“If possible, so far as it depends on you, be at peace with all men. Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is Mine, I will repay,” says the Lord.” Romans 12:18-19

How can anyone juxtapose their own capability along with a professional proven-ness when very little to no training is the accompanist? In other terms, joining America’s bobsled team for the 2018 Winter Olympics may be delusional.

Our lives are seemingly packed experientially with enough scenarios in irreconcilable behavior to determine what road to pursue. If that’s so, why so much misery (*Job 14:1)? Man continues to pursue what seems to be right, while mostly wrong (Judg.21:25). Power within for every believer is inextricably ours (Ro.8:31-35). Holy God is without need for you to co-pilot. HE’s in charge of the destination; so stay away from the cockpit shouting, “Are We There Yet (Lam.3:25)?”

Happy Thursday!
