Today’s Thought “Shatterproof” G. Ward

“Then Jonathan made a covenant with David because he loved him as himself. Jonathan stripped himself of the robe that was on him and gave it to David, with his armor, including his sword and his bow and his belt.” 1 Samuel 18:3-4

Lasting friendships never lends itself to promulgations of the way we were, but rejoices in the continuity of unconditional, currently. Although respectful of schedule indifference (with its variances), friendships don’t consider questioning how long it’s been since last corresponding and why; it resumes from the last point of contact. Furthermore, it’s without promptings, giving generously without reciprocal demands.

These perspectives are proprietary to those seeking maturity. If, or when feelings of desolation should occur in your life, cease being too analytical through admittance. Holy God’s compelling doesn’t promote isolation from others, but interdependence. Make the telephone call or send a written correspondence (electronically or hand written) that will ONLY share how important they are to you. The dividends are incalculable.

Happy Tuesday!
