Today’s Thought “Odious” G. Ward

“For the one who sows to his own flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life. Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary.” Galatians 6:8-9

Righteous indignation is the most daunting, subjective term in American culture currently. It rarely wars alone. It seeks an audience of great protest to substantiate its cause, while bringing to surface potential disparity from its followers. Riotous behaviors might ensue causing what was an original perceived injustice to become thwarted by passionate constituents. In the name of peaceable protest there’s always a cowardly rebel hiding amidst the great crowds seeking to infuse his heinous work. In an era of great communication (i.e. media, social or otherwise); sensationalistic editorials forget the peace in protest to highlight the buffoonery. Final Authority seeks to intercept: “But all things should be done decently and in order” (1 Cor. 14:40). Run quickly and teach the importance of submission unto authority before another utilizes civil protection via laws as a flimsy shield for their lack in cooperation that may cost them their life!

Happy Friday!
