Today’s Thought “If I Were A Rich Man…” G. Ward

John 2:24-25

“But Jesus, on His part, was not entrusting Himself to them, for He knew all men, and because He did not need anyone to testify concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in man.”


The many observances from man may determine that your spiritual connectivity onto Christ as remarkable; whereas it more suggests the ones with kudos for all you possess as unattainable for them in that moment. How dare any possess so much due to their Father’s unlimited resources to not consider clothing others in the finest garment available (cf. Lk.14:23)?

Truly our redemption cost the Savior everything, nullifying our contribution therein. It does however compel us towards service unto HIM that won’t relent, particularly with those feeling both unworthy, or confident...
