Today’s Thought “Heaven May Be Far Away…” G. Ward

Proverbs 24:11 “Deliver those who are being taken away to death, and those who are staggering to slaughter, Oh hold them back.”

Without provocation exists an ever-evolving position that soaks up daily grace and mercy from the LORD without consideration of insistence from that same Wonderful Savior to resolutely identify one’s change and then pursue another’s need for peace.

Chants of “God is good” and acknowledgement of another sneezing with echoes of “bless you” may certainly embody an act of kindness, but the mandate given by the greatest act in sacrifice called every believer therein onto uncomfortable accompaniment to a soul unaware of the gift granting comfort.

You can hang out at the Temple all the day long, but deliverance won’t begin until obedience has become personal insistence…
