Today’s Thought “Claimants Without Authority” G. Ward
Psalm
33:12-15 “Blessed is the nation
whose God is the Lord,
The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.
The people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance.
The Lord looks from heaven; He sees all the sons of men; From
His dwelling place He looks out On all the
inhabitants of the earth,
He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works.”
He who fashions the hearts of them all, He who understands all their works.”
The celebration of graven images or shrines built for
worship of other gods was a thing to avoid for God’s own. Moreover, believers
are still compelled to live out heaven’s standard through avoidance of the very
thing appearing evil, along with profane babblings. We’ve become puppets of
vain philosophy that establishes myriads of factions; allowing our souls to be
pierced by the next eloquent one. Soon, the Kool-Aid offered will choke those
doubters of Final Authority to death and whereas an elixir of sorts was once
made available to extend a life in a strange land, that journey (for the
wavering one) is settled (cf. Ro.6:23)…
