Today’s Thought “Off to Work I Go” G. Ward

“For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.” Ephesians 6:12

You’ve seen it many days, the disgruntled employee that seeks to make everyone’s day miserable. Although we’ve not been guilty in reciprocating the same attitude, our avoidance of this individual(s) is construed by Holy God as foolish reciprocation. Jesus our Lord sought/seeks every broken soul troubled about past imperfects, along with current lack in resolve from both mean-spirited and immoral contributors (*cf. Eph.5:1-2). Our superficial salutations unto the troubled are far more perceived as wrongfully attitudal by those disgruntled and while appearing to be an “olive branch” extended, speaks volumes of our hatred and unforgiveness in others. Rather than assessing the dysfunction, try the loving involvement shown you at Calvary’s cross. Begin with fervent prayer, then with peaceable intentionality, attack with mercy without expectancy (cf. Jn.3:17-19).

Happy Tuesday!
