Today’s Thought “An Uncertain Tomorrow” G. Ward
“So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since
what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
We’re all witness to the demise of loved ones and
acquaintances who once seemed so vivacious in life. It becomes the excellent
tutorial in regarding humanity with better congeniality, but soon after the
festivities, including burial, our lives seek to circumvent what’s been
ordinarily perceived, to rarely view routine as obstructive. There’s a greater
plan disallowing lethargy of this kind; it’s uninterrupted time with the most
Wonderful Savior. Endeavoring this intimacy may become difficult when
calculated quantitatively, so begin with a passage from Holy God’s word,
promoting meditative review. Moreover, perhaps there’s a spiritual chorus you’re
familiar with? Sing that, and do so with your heart during the course of the
day. It’s then that many will long for your presence (1 Pe.3:15)…
Happy Tuesday!
