Today’s
Thought “Less Testosterone” G. Ward
“Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not malicious
gossips nor enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good, so that they may encourage the young women to love their
husbands, to love their children, to be sensible, pure, workers at
home, kind, being subject to their own husbands, so that the word of God will
not be dishonored.” Titus 2:3-5
It’s
presumed that only men can teach boys how to be men. Well someone needs to
reverse historicity’s account of women raising men as productive citizens. The
Creator’s delineation of men as providers and women as keepers of the home,
demands that boys have more interactivity with their mothers.
America’s 41st
President (George Herbert Walker Bush) proposed one of the most prolific,
philosophical statements of any American President concerning sociological malfeasance
among its citizenry; a "kinder, gentler nation.”
In essence, we don’t need more male prominence in physical feats. We need
greater compassion and consideration given that brought them thus far…
Happy
Thursday!
