Today’s
Thought “With A Goal in Mind” G. Ward
Philippians
4
6 Do not be anxious about
anything, but in everything by prayer and pleading with thanksgiving let
your requests be made known to God.
We’ll first
have to understand – worry, can ultimately deliver lack of trust in our Lord’s
Wisdom, but is in itself, a natural response to our humanity and whereas our
prudence towards the Word of God is our calling to fulfill (*Ps.119:9-11), the
many trials life produces happened (with our predecessors) similarly, or, even
greater than our circumstances given and whereas those tests in misery are
comparable to navigating wind (i.e., which direction it will flow), soon our
time (as followers of Christ) will witness an eternity with our King – where trials
and temptations are obliterated. Let’s not discount HIS presence now, as HE
remains a Mighty Fortress, utilizing circumstances for HIS glory; particularly
as our Savior exemplified in earth (*Ro.8:28).
