The Word of God speaks to us about soaring like an eagle, but never sought imposing a cliff to jump from (Matt.4:5-7) and whereas mankind was created for God’s glory and can move towards a reliance that demands “you have a brain, now go use it,” will witness incessant dissatisfaction until he concedes Jesus is more than enough. As Jeremiah would be used as God’s instrument and obeyed despite not knowing what it meant initially (illustrative of the aforementioned – pride), we all will understand it when the eyes of this natural man close unto a brain disquieted by inability to open them; perfect submission now, equals perfect delight (cf. *Ezek.33:30-33).
