Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.” A follower of this Blessed Redeemer must agree, then comply with His directives for their lives as both supreme and perfect. It was His earthly presence that exemplified perseverance unto truth (unmatched) and is the most excellent corollary for our diligent, daily pursuit thereunto. When we are deliberate in our believing that social, economic or political reconciliation can co-exist with the Author’s example (that never sought such acclimation) and insisted we do as He did, we embody heavenly wisdom, regarding things lending eternal merit.
