Today’s Thought “Exercise In Futility” G. Ward
“Now before the Feast of the Passover, Jesus
knowing that His hour had come that He would depart out of this world to the
Father, having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end.” John
13:1
While there may be absolutely nothing wrong
with resolution for the New Year, the month presented us on today may be a good
time to evaluate how well you’ve done. Contemplating goals of sorts will/can
often lead us according to the most disciplined portion of one’s being vs. who
they practice primarily (i.e. ever evolving, *cf. Nu.23:19).
When task is devoted to rightful Ownership
(Ps.24:1), considering the generosity in HIS rescue, plans in personal desire are
deemed miniscule. Thursday’s theme must
deny my tactic’s ability to take-off with great thrust to soon become another
testimonial incomplete (cf. Col.3:16-17).
