Unfortunately scandal is the necklace for America. Furthermore, it lends inspiration for perspective and opinion. It empties into an avoidance of what really matters; that is, what does Holy God say is acceptable? His Name is Immutable and because HE is without change, the observance of His institution must remain. Many watch and sanction the recent separation unto divorce upon hearing the recent news of an ex-congressman exacerbating lewd, photo-graphic acts via social networking’s opportunity for companionship. His wife forgave this indiscretion before, but now is embarrassed by the incessant coverage (through media). Holy God’s institution of marriage demands like-mindedness in faith terms, not cheap faith, but total allegiance to God’s Word first. Perceivably esoteric to believers is the command unto marriage, “Let no man put asunder” is actually transcendent of believer-ship, otherwise, why get married (under the guise of holy matrimony)?
