Fantastic juxtaposing was commonplace as new clothing for Worship services, along with Spring cleaning of homes, particularly as that great Holy-Day would include the prior celebratory days that led to Easter Day. Our times now witnesses very little to no preparation, but entertains the kind of spontaneity that precludes attending worship services as significant, while still chanting “O, How I Love Jesus” and whereas mine own chants, how I miss Mother. Regardless of which era embodied spiritual prudence the more may be unnecessarily diversionary, particularly when/if you fail to know that if there was no resurrection of our Redeemer, we’d be hopeless…
